Keep Moving Along to Achieve Success in MLM

Whether it is network marketing (MLM or multi-level marketing), consulting, online work, or anything else, it requires sticking with it and not moving away from it when success may be just around the corner.

It was a random and chance meeting with a perfect stranger, a woman who was traveling with her husband. We were at a large metropolitan airport waiting for our rides to arrive when we found ourselves sitting next to each other. We started talking and discovered that we were both returning home. She asked where I had been. I told her and asked where her travels took her. She mentioned a state where she had gone. It was the state where I grew up and had lived prior to moving to this area. Since it is an unlikely tourist attraction unless you ski and they did not have skis, I asked what they were doing there. She said she went to meet with her company. I then asked what the name of the company was since I thought it might be familiar to me.

She mentioned the name of an MLM company which has become prominent in the industry over the past twenty years. She said they started out with a few products and now have over 400 in their line. I was very familiar with the company. I have known several people who have become extremely successful in the company and are now multi-millionaires. The company has become a giant in the multi-level marketing industry.

This woman is a distributor with that company and said that her success with them has been life changing. Her husband quit his job as an attorney when her monthly income exceeded his yearly earnings. Now he works with her or not at all, and they have a lifestyle to be envied. They live in an exclusive area of beautiful homes, many of which could be considered mansions. They are enjoying true wealth.

It is unlikely that I will ever run into this woman again. I doubt that our paths will cross in the future although that possibility exists.

She did say something that could be valuable to network marketers. You must keep moving along to achieve MLM success. You need to work hard and not give up. You need to face the rejection and ridicule with a firm resolve that you will make it.

Because failure is the norm for most people who begin a network marketing business, it is quite likely that distributors will quit before they find any success. It is necessary to stick with it and keep working hard to earn money in MLM. It is not an easy business in the beginning, but later the rewards can be outstanding.
