There is so much fun waiting for Sea Doo jet skis and their riders
. There is something absolutely breathtaking about scouring around on the water and making a day out of it. The liberation and freedom is by far one of the more thrilling rides out there.
It's also important to play safe while you're out on the water. Everyone wants the play with the coolest toys and enjoy themselves while they are taking a break from the every day ritual of working and responsibilities.
Fun and safety can actually go hand in hand. Simple things like yielding a little extra space to those you pass will go a long way in keeping jet skiing open to all. Make sure that you know who has the right of way. Small sailboats, windsurfers, surfers, and kayakers have the right of way on the water. Give others a respectable distance in order to avoid complaints and accidents. Knocking people off their toys is not a good way to share the waterways and can result in more restrictions for those of us that play by the rules.
Leave room when dealing with wildlife as well. Checking out dolphins, waterfowl, and other cool creatures can be fun. Cutting it close is not only distressing to the wildlife but can result in altercations with them. There have been numerous attacks in the last few years which have been the result of passing too close to Mother Nature.
Don't drink and play on the water. Only get out and get going when you're sober. Abide by the laws of the area. If you don't know them take the time to learn them so that your fun can go on uninterrupted.
