Many things can keep you busy during a flight. There are many different things to do to stay occupied during a flight, even if you are alone or with other people. You may want to bring along your music or mp3 player if you are going it solitary. Of course, you could work on your computer if you have a wireless notebook to bring along. For those who travel often, plans are offered where you can buy airtime for short periods. And for those who cannot or do not want to go on the internet because they are not technologically inclined can work too. It is still acceptable to use a pen and pad. You just have to use the provided tray for a writing desk and you can accomplish many things.

Whether you bring along a video player so you can watch movies or a portable DVD player so you can download flicks or shows from the internet, you will ensure you have something to do. Then, of course, there are the new e-readers like Nook that allow you to read a downloaded book during your air flight. Then again, if you don't like technology, just simply bring along the traditional form to read. Or catch up with your letter writing and phone calls by either traditional methods or otherwise. Whatever you decide, you can get a lot done during your trip.

Games, video games or regular board games, are a great thing to bring along, especially if you are traveling with other people. Some modern consoles can go online and connect to other players which helps keep everyone busy. Cards and small travel games are a great choice too. Waiting is part of traveling, and bringing these things ensures your ability to stay occupied.

Some people do not like to do anything while on an airplane. If you are simply anticipating relaxing or and chilling out during your trip, noise canceling headphones are a great thing to bring along. Airplanes can be quite loud because of mechanical reasons and even from other people around. Masks that cover your sight will help you relax and keep others from distracting you also. Typically, the flight attendant can give you a pillow and perhaps a blanket so you can relax and rest comfortably.

There are currently an abundance of choices to keep busy during a flight, making it nearly unnecessary to ever be uncomfortable or have to hear someone complaining who is right next to you. There are many choices to keep busy no matter what you decide!
