. Belonging in a religion has become an essential part of one's being. Religions then established ministries to better teach and invite people to carry out spiritual activities. One famous Christian organization is the Kenneth Copeland Ministry which aims to teach the Bible.
Kenneth Copeland, the founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministry, was a celebrated artist back in the 1950s. Gloria became Kenneth's wife. After deciding to be a Christian, Kenneth moved with his family to Tulsa Oklahoma where he trained for Oral Roberts as a co-pilot.
The vision of establishing a ministry that preaches the gospel was sent to Kenneth, on May 1967 while walking the banks of Arkansas River. September 7, 1967, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland established the ministry.
Activities of the Ministry. Activities include prayer ministries that respond to prayer requests, prison ministries that bring back hope and aid in rebuilding the lives of the prisoners, military ministries that provide family members of soldiers support, and outreach programs for the juveniles and the unfortunates.
In addition to that, Kenneth Copeland Ministries also have Believer's Voice of Victory Broadcast that teaches gospel and faith building worldwide. They also held KCM events wherein the ministry assembles its supporters every year for Believer's Conventions, prayer meetings and Victory campaigns. These activities help members develop a meaningful relationship with God and aid ministers heal the sick. Resource materials, such as Believer's Voice of Victory Magazine, are also published and distributed around the world with various translations that communicate the word in the Bible.
The Bible or the Word-of-God is the foundation of Kenneth Copeland Ministry. The Ministry believes in: The Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and Holy-Spirit; Jesus Christ is the Beloved Son of God that gave up his life for the deliverance of the world; The Salvation of the good, Damnation of the evil and the rising up of the dead; Living as people with purity in heart and soul; Healing through the Divine power of Christ; The Baptism of Water; and the return of Jesus Christ.
The Ministry aims to hone believers in the word-of-God and teach others the gospel. Furthermore, they intend to reveal the mysteries of the Bible, to establish mass numbers of believers and use media such as the television, radio, conferences, magazines, books, and recordings to reach out to the world.
This organization aspires to invite as much believers, convert the non-believers, to further expand and spread the teachings. The Ministry not only has branches in the United States but in Africa, Canada, Ukraine, Europe and Australia as well.
The Controversy. The partnership with Affordable Homes Limited Business got Kenneth and Gloria accused back in 2007 with thousands of dollars debt and spending on other projects. The partnership with the said business was only limited so they need not to explain the reason for withdrawal nor need to pay the debt.
Worldwide, people are involved with their own group of religion. For whatever or wherever one is involved with, what matters is, one finds that he belongs in such a group and that he finds himself growing spiritually, mentally and emotionally with his own ministry.
