This museum is the King Prajadhipok Museum dedicated to a one of a kind ruler who is admired for being a peoples king.
King Prajadhipok also known as King Rama VII is the brother of King Rama VI and the last son of King Chulalongkorn otherwise known as King Rama V. He was the seventh monarch of the Chakri royal dynasty while being the final absolute monarch. He also entered the historical records for being the first constitutional monarch, following the coup and Siamese Revolution in 1932. About three years later the king renounced the throne and settled with his queen in England.
The King Prajadhipok Museum is housed within a unique building which too has a long history. In 2001 it was transformed into the King Prajadhipok Museum.
Using its three floors of space for permanent and temporary exhibitions, King Prajadhipok Museum is like a living biography of King Rama VII.
