Kingfisher Red, known formerly as Simplifly Deccan and prior to that as Air Deccan

, is a low-cost airline run by Kingfisher Airlines. Headquartered in Mumbai, it is currently the only Indian low-cost airline to provide complimentary in-flight meals and bottled water to its passengers.

With an expanded network, Kingfisher Red connects metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune. The airline also extends its operations to cover regional destinations like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Madurai, Coimbatore, Dehradun and Hubli. The airline combines a low-cost structure with quality service to make a delightful experience for travelers.

Passengers can earn frequent flyer miles, called King Miles, for tickets booked on Kingfisher Red through the King Club loyalty program run by its parent Kingfisher Airlines. In-flight reading material keeps passengers entertained. Customers can choose from a wide range of check-in options which include web check-in, tele check-in, kiosk check-in (available at select airports) and through check-in.

Kingfisher launched 22 additional flights in its winter schedule this year. While the airline has introduced new routes such as Varanasi-Khajuraho, Udaipur-Jaipur, Jaipur-Jodhpur and New Delhi-Agra, additional flights have been launched on existing routes such as Mumbai-Ahmedabad and New Delhi-Lucknow. These new services have been designed to offer enhanced connectivity to popular winter destinations.

In a recent development, Kingfisher launched direct flights from Bengaluru to Mysore. The inaugural flight was hosted by the Hon. Chief Minister of Karnataka and Dr. Vijay Mallya, Chairman and Managing Director, Kingfisher Airlines Limited. The launch of this new route offers travelers from Mysore a one-stop connection to Goa, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Pune, Delhi, Trivandrum, Kochi and Mumbai via Bengaluru. The air connectivity of Mysore to Bengaluru and other key cities promises to boost tourism, trade and commerce. Earlier this year, the airline had launched direct flights from New Delhi to Ludhiana. This new route was expected to cater to the requirements of small and medium enterprises and various industries such as garments, sports goods, bicycle manufacturers and steel rolling mills.

The airline has firmly established its position in the highly competitive low-fare airline industry. It continues to dominate the domestic sectors with reliable operations and efficient service.
