The shortcoming of their increased popularity is that there is an increase in golf cart accidents.

It has a great tendency to skid and fall when you apply brakes with immense pressure and it mostly stops working when you utilize them in a downhill slope terrain.

The Government can play an important role in preventing golf cart accidents by implementing some safety rules and regulations. They can prevent careless persons to drive the golf carts by insisting the drivers to own a valid driver's license and further they may be provided with safety and operational training. The users can take proper care and caution and along with the appropriate intervention of the Government there would be a gradual decrease in golf cart accidents.
