Know The Latest New American Idol Music

Not only is the American Idol TV competition show popular so is the music from the contestants

. Popular music comes from the winner of the completion each season as other contestants are getting record deals too.

The longer a contestant was on the show the better chance their music will someday be recorded for the masses. Most of the music is very popular and has won awards. Kelly Clarkson, the first winner, remains popular with music constantly on the radio. Another success story is the award winning Jennifer Hudson as well as Corey Clark, who was on the TV show Cops.

American Idol music is popular with show fans, contestant fans and people who do not follow the show. Even if someone does not watch the show they probably know the concept. Music hopefuls across America audition to be included in the American Idol competition on TV. Those invited to participate on the show perform each week. Often they are given themes related to what they will be performing. Then each week a contestant is eliminated until there is a winner that seasons American Idol. The winner wins a recording contract and instant celebrity. It is up to them to be a success at their new music career.

Some of the runners up and other contestants have had music recorded as well. Some have started other celebrity status careers. There are success stories and there are others that have been, well, forgotten. An example is Justin Guarini. He was Season 1 runner up to winner Kelly Clarkson. He started in the movie From Justin to Kelly that did not do well and co-starred Clarkson. He recorded his music, but it was not well received. The musical talent did not give up on his dream and released his music anyway even though RCA dropped their recording offer. He instead worked with Justice Entertainment. He has actually recorded two albums and continues to work on recording more. He also has worked on doing more acting. Another gig for him is being a host on Idol Chat and Idol Tonight show on the TV Guide Channel. Guarini has also worked as a musical classroom advocate and Support Music Education campaign national spokesman.

Not only have the contestants had a career because of their talent and the show. Many may not remember Brian Dunkleman. He helped Ryan Seacrest host during the first season of American Idol. He was only on the show for a season as the rumor goes because he angered judge Simon Cowell. Since American Idol show, he has been on different shows such as The Ghost Whisperer, Friends, The Tonight Show and other shows. He has also been involved with The Proud Family through voiceovers as well as American Idol Rewind show. Dunkleman appears at comedy clubs and is often a Family Feud Live host too.

All of these contestants and their lives after the experience shows that being on American Idol has affected them. It may not be in the way they thought it would go, but it has definitely headed them on a path.
