Every international airport has a Green Channel meant for the passengers not having any dutiable goods and a Red Channel for passengers having dutiable goods. If you are not carrying any such item that needs to be declared for custom duties, then you can simply pass through the green channel without any harassment.

With the implementation of advanced technology and modern methods this cumbersome process is not the same anymore. The customs clearance process has incredibly improved over the past years. Although the process is less cumbersome now, but if you are little aware of the general rules regarding these mandatory duties, then you can save yourself the time and trouble.
