Kullu and Manali are located on the banks of river Beas. Kullu is the magical land which is known for its natural hot springs and snow capped mountains. This hill station is sometimes known as 'the valley of gods'.

Manali is a town which is located at the Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh. It is an excellent honeymoon destination and it is surrounded by Deodar trees. This place offers several adventure activities like skiing, trekking, rafting, and mountaineering for adventure enthusiasts.

Kullu Manali is surrounded by snow clad mountain range. Kullu Manali experiences a pleasant climate throughout the year. In summer its maximum temperature goes by 30 degrees C which falls substantially during the night. Cotton clothes are used in tropical summer and in winter heavy woolen clothes are required. The most ideal time to visit this beautiful place is between the month of May and October. Manali is also famous for its beautiful temples and colorful handicrafts which are produced by the local craftsman.

By Air - There is a Bhutnar Airport which is at a distance of 10 km from Kullu and 52 km from Manali. From this place taxi and buses are available for Kullu and Manali.

By Rail - The nearest railway narrow guage railway station from Kullu Manali is at Joginder Nagar, which is at a distance of 95 km from Kullu.

By Road-kullu and Manali are well connected to other important places of Himachal Pradesh and the neighbouring states. There are regular bus connections from Shimla, Delhi, Pathankot, Chandigarh and other north Indian towns to Kullu Manali.

Bijli Mahadev Temple - This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located at a distance of 10 km from Kullu across the Beas river.

The Great Himalayan National Park - It is located in Kullu district. It is one of the important national parks of Himachal Pradesh.

Basheshwar Mahadev Temple - This temple is built in 9th century. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Hidimba Devi Temple - This temple was built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553. It is a four storey temple which is famous for its wooden carvings of animals, plants and local deities.

Manali Sanctuary - It is a wildlife sanctuary.

Winter Carnival - Every year in the month of January, this five-day festival is celebrated.
