. Being headquartered at Al Farwaniyah Governorate at the Kuwait International Airport it operates several flights to different destin ations across the world. In all 39 destinations both domestic and foreign destinations are covered by this airline company. The main flight destinations of the 26 countries are Abu Dhabi, Delhi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London and the list can go on.

This airline company has Codeshare agreement with several other airliners like Alitalia, Air India, Etihad Airways, Saudi, and so on. This arrangement has been made by most of the airliners today. This allows for good connectivity for the passengers and for the airliners it helps boost their business. Like other airline companies this airliner has entered into some alliances too. It is also done for better connectivity and gives a hassle free experience for the passengers on board as well as off board. Ethiopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines and so on are a few of the airline companies in the Star Alliance along with this airliner.

Formed in the year 1954 privately this airliner was partly partnered by the government of Kuwait in the year 1955. And by 1962 it was completely taken over by the government. This helped for the rapid growth of the airliner too. Again in the year 2012 this airliner is half privatized and this takeover has allowed it to tide over the losses it had to bear due to the Iraqi war. Also with this the modernization of the fleet has been ordered for.

Fleet and Services of Kuwait Airways

The fleet size of this airline is not large with just numbering 17. Both Airbus and Boeing aircrafts are utilized like other airline companies. Airbus A310-300, Airbus A300-600R, Airbus A340-300 and Airbus A320-200 aircrafts comprise the Airbus fleet. The airliner has only a single make of Boeing aircraft in its fleet namely Boeing 777-200ER. Though the size of the fleet seems to be small it has been able to earn the trust of the passengers.

The privatization has also increased the efficiency of the airliner and they are able to serve the passengers better. The trust of the passengers has been earned with it and allows them to get value for their money too. Kuwait Aviation Services, Automated Systems, ALAFCO and so on are the subsidiaries of this airliner. This has made it possible to serve the public better too. It is only with such policies that the airline company is able to remain efficient. It is the preferred flight for travel wherever it is available now.

Kuwait Airways has earned the trust of the passengers also because of the amenities offered on board and the services offered off board too.
