The tablet PC segment has been at segment that has been growing a lot in the last few months due to the launch of the Apple iPad. It will be in the form of the LG Optimus Pad, which is the Tablet PC that will be finally bringing the 3-D capabilities into the Tablet PC.

The LG Optimus Pad will be capable of supporting the 3-D content on its 8.9 inch touch screen display that makes use of the capacitive technology in order to provide multi-touch options as well. It is something that has never been achieved before in a device that is as small as the LG Optimus Pad. It will not only be capable of playing back the 3-D content that has been recorded using other cameras, but it will also be able to record them with the tablet PC itself. This is due to the presence of a dual five megapixel camera in the rear of the tablet PC. It will be capable of 720 p video recording in the 3-D mode, but this option will not be available in the 1080 p mode. You will be able to record only the 2-D videos in the 1080 p mode.

The Tablet PC will also be coming with a secondary camera that is going to be located just in front of the touch screen display. This will be making use of any of the connectivity options that are present in the Tablet PC. These will be ranging from the 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The LG Optimus Pad has just been launched by LG and it is expected to be launched in the United Kingdom by April or May.
