Even though this phone is small it offers a large touch screen display with a really fun user interface. LG has given the Pop loads of cool, useful and absolutely quirky features for you to play with.The LG Pop is not only shiny, sleek and sexy, but it is also affordable. The device measures 98 x 50 x 11 mm and weighs only 87 grams. The device has a very unusual off center button below the screen and has a matte finish with touches of chrome thrown in. The Pop is the smallest 3 inch touch screen phone.
The high resolution and the large screen make pressing virtual buttons easy and fun.
When you want to access any of the phone's features, you only need to go as far as the home screen. The 3 way rotating home screen allows you to access calls, text messages, the web, your contacts and other features.
The Pop comes with a 3 megapixel camera. Even though it lacks a flash and it only has fixed focus, it still takes pretty good photos. The picture quality might not be that great in dark conditions, but the manual exposure levels and some other features compensate for this. Even though the LG Pop lacks 3G, it is a quad band GSM phone. For connectivity it offers Bluetooth and USB.
On top of everything else, the LG Pop is echo friendly. As an added accessory, this device can utilize a solar charging battery cover. This battery covers uses the energy of the sun. When the battery is completely charged, the phone will beep to let you know. This way you don't waste any energy. Even the packaging is made from fully recycled materials.
The phone offers internal memory of 48 MB with the ability to upgrade to 8GB via a micro SD card.

The good points about the LG Pop are the great design and the user interface. Also the awesome entertainment features and the fact that the Pop is eco friendly.
The not so good points are the camera that lacks flash and the fact that the video player does not offer DivX. The biggest disappointment was the lack of Wi-Fi and 3G.
All in all the LG Pop is a fun and entertaining mobile phone that is very affordable. It may not have all the bells and whistles and it lacks Wi-Fi and 3G but it is fun, chic and cheap.
