LightYear Wireless scam? Don't do anything until you read this review. It could save you some time and money. Is this a legitimate business opportunity or a complete waste of time? This reasoned look will determine the answer to those questions.

The service is, as you would imagine, a cellular phone service that is set up on a MLM platform with a full compensation plan. The premise is that you use the service and get your friends and family to sign on as well, typical network marketing.

The monthly cost of the service is $59.95 for unlimited time, text and data. That is per phone and you don't have a contract to lock you in. If you are just one person, this could work for you, but if you have a family, or there are two of you, this may be a bit spendy.

The company line is get enough people signed on and you get the service free. Well, sure, but the product or service should be able to stand alone and be competitive in the market place if you want true residual income. This seems to be a little overpriced for the market place, in my opinion.

Let's look at the compensation plan. You can get paid between 1-10% on your own personal sales volume, 1-4% on 8 levels of compressed revenue, or from a bonus you get for each distributor you sign on to the company. This bonus amount can range from $25 or even up to $295 just by helping one of your referrals sign up 2 customers points in 30 days.

This is a standard compensation plan with not much new and exciting. It is definitely adequate and will do the job for anyone wanting to work hard and overcome the price objections. One bonus is a free phone when you sign up someone.

With the higher priced product and a standard compensation plan, I would think the chances for success would be limited, especially when looking at the company for a long haul. In my opinion, the best place to market this opportunity is the Internet. But that comes with a price - having the marketing knowledge and system to do it right.

Anyone wanting to market online will have to have a system that will generate unlimited leads, have a cash flow system in place to keep that person in the game long enough to make their network marketing opportunity pay off, and with a short learning curve so they can start right out of the gate.

LightYear wireless scam? No, not in the real sense, but it is going to be a tough sell, in my opinion.
