La Manzanilla, Mexico Vacation Or Staycation- I Choose Vacation.

Staycation? Please, if youre staying youre NOT vacationing! Isnt a vacation about

getting away from the norm; not having to deal with the phone, bills, annoying neighbors.

So, with a vacation in mind, and lets throw in a budget minded vacation, why not escape south of the border to La Manzanilla, Mexico for a week or two? Believe it or not there are places in Mexico that are still considered budget. Now, if you want the Ritz at Cancun forget it and stop reading now.

Im talking about something off the beaten path, but still an idyllic Mexican beach vacation. The long, flat, crescent shaped beach is perfect for swimming and safe for small children. Sun, sand, surf and beers served to you at a beachside restaurant that only cost about $1. Beautiful vacation homes renting for $70 a night or basic and clean hotels rooms as low as $25 a night. If you need a break that is affordable then this is the place for you.

With only 1500 full-time residents La Manzanilla is a quiet and peaceful fishing village. But if you are looking to start your morning off with a yoga class, spend the afternoon boogie boarding or kayaking and finish the day having a wonderful meal on the beach this is the place for you. Many of the full time residences do not speak English, but not to worry they are used to foreign tourists and rarely will you have difficulty ordering a meal, requesting extra towels or getting directions.

Where is La Manzanilla, Mexico?

Its located 4 hours drive south of Puerto Vallarta or 45 minutes north of Manzanillo International airport, on the Costa Alegre, or Happy Coast. The Caribbean has the Rivera Maya we have the Costa Alegre.

So, with a choice of staycation or vacation, why not vacation in a beach paradise with a small price tag?
