Eccentric pop star Lady Gaga may be set to send out wedding invitations after it was revealed she has got engaged to her beau Luc Carl.
Although it may be some time before she decides whether she is sending out traditional cards or email wedding invitations - as the plans are still at an early stage - she will no doubt go to considerable effort to ensure they stand out.
According to reports in Grazia magazine, the loved up pair recently took part in a commitment ceremony to confirm their affections towards one another.
They were staying on the Greek island of Crete enjoying a relaxing break from their hectic schedules when they took the step.
The news source quoted a source as saying: "It was their first step towards marriage. They both dressed up and said beautiful handwritten vows.
"They then exchanged rings in a spiritual service and drank shots before sitting down to a lovely private dinner at a tiny restaurant."
The insider added: "They wanted to show that they are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are still planning to marry, but that will come later when she has the time to plan a big Italian-style wedding."
So it seems Gaga will have some time to arrange her wedding invitations just the way she wants them.
Among those allegedly set to receive such invites are all her friends and family.
If her past behaviour is anything to go on, the bash will be anything but understated.
The American superstar is known for her wacky fashion sense and outlandish behaviour.
On a recent tour, she insisted on drinking tea from her favourite China set even while being rushed around in cars between events.
Meanwhile, 29-year-old Luc is a club promoter when he is not busy accompanying his high-profile other half.
