This is the page that will give them more information about the product or service you are promoting, and hoping to convince them to buy the product.

You can use a blog page as a landing page. You can use a page on your website as a page. You can even make separate landing pages with free programs like Weebly. Because there are all sorts of things that can make a page, you are going to find hundreds of thousands of landing page templates.

Here are some basic rules to follow to make the most of the page no matter what program you are using; keep it simple and present your information in an entertaining manner whenever possible.

One of the easiest programs to make a landing page that I have ever used was WordPress Express. This essentially makes a blog for you, but there are hundreds of templates to choose from. There are quite a few on there that have a clear, simple design that you can present your information in. You do not want to use an overly complicated design, and WordPress Express is fast. Your page is up in a matter of minutes and ready for you to customize.

Now for presenting your information. Whenever possible find an entertaining way to present it. Sometimes videos can help with this, but so can photos. Do not over-do it, but you can really liven up your page by adding photos and videos to it. Some are even adding polls to their page. This gives people a chance to participate in the information and a lot of people like that as well. Back to videos though, you can find just about anything on YouTube and putting in a video that relates to your content in some way is a great opportunity to get more traffic. Some even go so far as to add in a comic strip or a joke that relates to their content as well.

People loved to be entertained no matter what they are doing. This is true even when they are looking for something specific on the internet. Remember this when you are customizing your landing page templates. Add in humor whenever possible as well. Though you should remember to give your information in a clear, easy to understand way too. Keep it simple both in design and content. If they understand it; chances are that they will be more likely to buy it.
