Gatot Kaca Statue. Gatot Kaca is known to be a very brave knight, one of the five Pandawa brothers and son of Bima. His statue was created in 1993 and is erected right in the center of the road intersection which is near the Ngurah Rai International Airport. He is also known to be the flying knight whose main task was to protect the Kingdom of Pandawa.

Catur Muka Statue. The Catur Muka Statue represents the almighty creator, god Brahma. Still located at a crossroad, its four-headed statue has each head facing and guarding the streets of Surapati, Udayana, Veteran, and Gajah Mada.

The legend of Brahma is about a God who watched a contest in heaven for the most beautiful woman. During the parade of the beauties, there were so many people that it became difficult for Brahma to see the women. So he transformed himself to have three more heads. Today, it is known that each head represents the powers of God. The first signifies that Gods power is infinitely big, the second says that God is the king of all kings and the third says that God is tireless.

Kandapat Sari Statue. This is considered as the landmark of the Klungkung Regency which is located in Semarapura town. It was established in April 28, 1992 and stands up to 28 meters high.

Monument of Klungkung Heroic Battle. This reminds the people of Bali of the event that happened on April 28, 1908 called the Puputan which was the Great King of Klungkungs defense against the Dutch soldiers.

Penglipuran Heroes Monument. In 1959, the Penglipuran Heroes Monument was built to remember Captain Anak Agung Anom Muditha who died along with his 18 troops while fighting against the Dutch troops.

Bali is not only known for its villas in Bali for rent. More than that, you should come here to get to know its culture better and see its great history. It would not have become the island paradise it is now if not for the people in its history who had fought to keep its freedom alive.
