Languages are sterile to reality and truth: They inadequate for knowledge

Language is unknown in its origin: it is sterile to unveil the reality or nature of a thing.

We communicate with words, or symbols, sounds and lines and colors. But these means of communication remain, at best, short of expressing reality or explaning the nature and essence of things. Words are sterile to nature and essence of things. Language is the means of sharing thought, feeling or experience with the same person who understands it. Terms are sterile to know what things really are. Terms are referents to things but they do not, in any way, tell us about things themselves.

The term apple tree', for example, makes us focus on a certain form and shape, color and constitution of the apple tree. But, what is an apple tree? Do you know?

No one can answer. The term refers to a plant, it has a trunk, roots, branches, leaves, flowers and fruits. We do not have the faintest idea what is this tree called apple tree. We know little about its being, presence and lesser still about its origin. The apple tree is there/ What for? To provide us with its delicious fruits ( about 150 of different varieties), would be a good answer. But this does not unveil the nature, presence, origin and finality of such a tree.

The compound term the apple tree remain as ever silent to its mysterious secrets of being what it is. What make the apple tree what it is? No one knows. Unless you do!

The term apple' refers to a round shaped fruit feeling our hand, if it is not too big or too small, that tastes like an apple and looks like an apple and feels like an apple. Splendid, where does this leads us to? Nowhere. We are still face with the thing, the apple. It has so many nourishing elements, like water, sugar, vitamins and other qualities that are essential for man, or animals like man, if man refuses to be an animal, feeling superior.

But being an ape himself man, according to the barbed ape Darwin, likes to eat apples. He calls it an apple for this is convenient to identify its shape, form, nature, color and construction and share such data with his fellow apes. An apple can be called a melon, but this should have been agreed upon before, for now it is too late.

An apple is a strange thing that no one can tell anything about it except that it exists, along side all the mysterious things, the man ape himself.

Words and terms do not real the characteristics of the fundamental questions of the reality or the truth of anything. They are invented by someone or something. For, believe it or not, no one knows where do languages come from, unless, of course, you do. Languages are as mysterious as ourselves or the apple and its fruit giving the apple tree.

Apply this logic to any referent-referentce and you will see what I mean!
