Lantus Vial is an artificially made natural hormone. This medication helps in decreasing the pressure of the blood in the patient.
Insulin Lantus works by decreasing the amount of sugar made by the liver, it prevent the sugar from been absorbed through the diet and make the insulin sensitive which can naturally control the level of sugar in the body. This medication is used for the treatment of type 1 and type 2-diabetes. This medication is available in the form of injection and it is injected into the skin.
How should I take this medication?

This medication may also cause common side effects such as hypoglycemia and low blood sugar. Lantus Vial may induceinflammation of the pancreas, awful stomach pain, unsettled stomach, puking or emesis, breathing problem while doing exercise, swelling and sudden gain of weight, unpleasant coldness and body-aches, symptoms of influenza and extremely feeling hot, cracking of skin, and skin rashes.
What precautions do I need to follow while using Lantus Vial?
The patient should not mix Lantus Vial along with the combination of other medication such as Proventil, Ventolin, Catapres, reserpine, Ismelin), Tenormin, Tenoretic, Coreg, Normodyne,Trandate, Lopressor, Toprol, Corgard, Inderal, InnoPran and Betapace. Women who is pregnant or planning to get pregnant should consult the doctor before taking this medication as it is not known whether or not it harm the fetus in the womb of the pregnant women. Consult it doctor if you are breast feeding the baby as there in no proper researched has been done whether or not it harm the nursing child. Do not apply this injection on the same area apply in different side or area other than injected portion.
