Large Cysts On Ovaries Can Cause Pain
Women often wonder about the fallopian tube pain
, often a simple cramping and at other times extremely painful spasms. Ovarian cysts on ovaries are often the culprit, and large ovarian cysts can be extremely painful.
It's not uncommon for a woman to have small blister like cysts on their ovaries and the fallopian tubes, not normally painful these small cysts come and go on a regular basis without the woman even knowing they are there.
Occasionally these problems can become large enough to cause pain, and then either treatment is needed or at times, they may pop or disappear on their own with no further treatment necessary. When they become painful, many women will seek a doctors opinion and this is where it can become a bit frustrating.
Your doctor may decide to just wait and see if the cysts pop on their own, may decide on prescription drugs, or can even decide to do surgery. It's up to each individual doctor, and if you're not happy with the decision, get a second opinion, just be aware each doctor may have their own method of dealing with large ovarian cysts.
So in other words, you may go to several different doctors about this abdominal pain and receive several different treatment options. Because each woman is different, some may only see one painful cyst in their life, while others seem to be constantly trying to deal with the situation. Just remember, while cysts like this can be frustrating they are usually not permanently damaging.
Also, be aware, that the older you are, the more problems you may have with ovarian cysts. In fact, while younger women may go on birth control to help deal with the cysts or their doctor wants to wait and see if they will pop on their own, women going through menopause may be looking at surgery to dispel the cyst.
Whatever or whichever, if you have pain that is substantial, are uncomfortable with intercourse, constantly have pain during your menstrual cycle, or constantly feel bloated, see your doctor. There are some simple methods of encouraging a cysts on ovaries to go away, and of course, if they're bad enough, some prescription drugs. Any constant pain felt in the fallopian tube area or the vaginal area should be seen by a qualified physician, just to rule out more damaging problems and of course, the sooner the better in most instances.
