Having balance in your life is the only way you will have success.
Without balance, you could be rich and have bad health, or a great
relationship and be poor, or even bad relationship and bad health but
rich. What good is one with out the other?
I read a book by Larry Winget and in it he says: Success is being all
you can be in each area of your life without sacrificing your ability
to be all you can be in each and every other area of your life!
Focus
When focusing too much on work, we loose focus on play, and if we
focus on play then work suffers. Of course everyone needs to work,
but your family is important too. When you play all the time, and not
work, your family suffers, that is why balance is so important.
Think of your life like a bicycle wheel. Each spoke is a different
part of your life. There is work, play, family, health, spiritual,
and social. Each time a spoke turns it needs to turn in unison in
order to have balance. Life without balance is like a bicycle wheel
stuck in a rut, going no where.
Life Is Short
Life is short and you need to learn to enjoy every moment of it. How
could you enjoy being wealthy if you are in bad health? How could you
enjoy your family if your hard at work all the time? Balance is the
key.
What you believe about success determines how much success you have.
What you believe about money determines how much money you have. What
you believe about happiness determines if you are happy or not,
remember what you think about comes about.
Take a good look at your life. Is your wheel of spokes balanced in all
areas? Maybe it is time to rethink how you live your life. If your not
happy in one or more of these areas, change it. Change is one of the
easiest things to do, it is one thing that no one can take from you.
We all have the right to change our mind, to change they way we think,
the way we live. Take charge of your life and watch what can happen.
Design Your Life
Design the life you desire. Want to be successful? Want to have great
health? Want to have a great relationship? The choice is yours to
answer YES to all of these questions. The key is to keep your life
balanced and success if yours for the taking.
