So, you've decided to take a trip to Vegas, booked your flights, but you're unsure where to stay. The choice is overwhelming, and its not just the choice of hotels, it's the location. Depending on what you are looking to get out of a holiday is the deciding factor when choosing where to stay. I will guide you through the two most popular choices The Strip and Downtown.

Staying on the strip

The strip as its know, is probably the most popular choice for holiday makers as it really does deliver that Vegas Experience', the folks who like to stay here are usually the people who enjoy the casinos, the 24hr style party atmosphere and enjoy a drink or 10! Hotels are not cheap, with many of the luxury Vegas hotels costing in excess of $350 per night. However, this is the place to be to be ensured of a holiday that you will never forget, the buzz of the strip is present all day and all night and you will not be disappointed no matter what your tastes are.

Downtown

Downtown is a cheaper alternative to the main strip, it offers budget accommodation, and whilst the hotels might not be world famous, you can expect to pay less than half of what a nights stay would cost on the strip. This would be for a pretty decent 4 star hotel as well! Downtown is for people who want a slightly more relaxed holiday, but just because it's away from the strip it doesn't mean its awkward to get too. Buses and taxis run through the night ferrying people too and from the strip 24 hours a day, so you won't be missing out!

So consider your options wisely when booking one of many Las Vegas Hotels, although you WILL get more for you money downtown, if you want the true' Vegas experience you will only really find it on the strip. But if you enjoy your sleep at night and won't be up all night partying and betting maybe a wiser choice would be indeed downtown.

Where every you stay, Vegas is a fantastic place and you will never experience anything like it anywhere else in the world. It makes for a totally unforgettable experience and a holiday to remember!
