Sessions are short and quite comfortable, and usually take no more than about half an hour each; a full treatment is normally articulated in about five sessions, depending on the particular case, spaced apart in 2-to-4 week intervals to insure full recovery and maximum benefits.

Laser skin rejuvenation has another important strong point, which goes beyond the evident effects in making the skin look younger and the patients look better: and it consists of the practically complete lack of unpleasant side-effects. The laser treatment is so soft, and non-invasive, that patients have at most reported a mild swelling or bruising, or a temporary redness of the treated areas, and never for any longer than a few days. The only proviso is that direct exposure to the sun must be avoided throughout the period of applications, as it has an adverse effect on the process of rejuvenation.
