LaserJet printers: cant live without them, cant burn them

I have been involved in selling parts fusers and kits throughout my career

. One thing that I know is that LaserJets are a staple to any office, to any type of business virtually anywhere. Imagine an office without one. What would happen? What are the possibilities?

I guess it's pretty easy to imagine. Simple office tasks would become much more time consuming. Imagine this; a customer comes into your site for a visit. On the way out he/she asks "how do I get back to interstate 95 from here?" Assuming your customer doesn't have GPS. What would you do and where would you start? Remember no printer; the task of writing down directions from MapQuest would take 10 minutes. What about the map? Imagine actually using your hands to copy something down. I think I pick up a pen 2 times a month, when I write a check for a car payment and my rent. Just the thought of scribbling down a map and directions feels odd. If I can't instant message it, email it or text it, it won't get done.

Point being, if you think that somehow office equipment, toner & the occasional maintenance kit are going anywhere, they're not. That is not if the giants HP and Lexmark have anything to do with it. Office machines are going to be around for a long time, they are going to break down & you are going to need toner.
