The wavelength and light pulse are specifically designed to affect tattoo pigments rather than normal pigments, so normal skin isnt affected by the procedure. Laser tattoo removal may require more than one procedure. In addition, the progress of removal depends on a variety of factors, including the experience of the tattoo artist. The better the artist, the more evenly the tattoo pigment was applied in the first place.
