Lawyers Profession Regaining Its Glory

Lawyers were once considered the most blessed people in the society

. The profession was almost earmarked to the people belonging to the upper strata of the society and many prominent people who could claim in the corridors of power were lawyer. Anyhow, the glory lost in the middle. After the industrial revolution in United Kingdom, engineers have become the professionals who have a demand and who were paid highly. Then came the revolution in information technology more and more people got attracted to it and the software and hardware engineers became the most demanded lots. Though the profession of lawyers lost its glory, it was not completely out. There are many lawyers in Glasgow and other cities who used to earn a lot and maintained a reputation in the society. Anyway, after the globalization trend, the entire world turned to business sector and even the countries, whose economy was based on agriculture, started giving preference for business sector. This initiated the growth of the profession as a number of legal matters have to be completed before starting a business. At this scenario, lawyers with good knowledge about laws and regulations and have a good oratory skill can rise in this field. Their oratory skills and the ability to convince a point by arguing attract the attention of the leadership and this makes them their entry into politics an easier task.

Thus, the law profession is regaining its once lost glory. Just like medical and engineering professionals, they too are considered an integral part of the society and they too command a good amount of respect. The rush for admissions in various institutes teaching law underlines the fact. Mushrooming of institutes specialized in law related subjects too support the fact.
