Leaf Peeping In North Georgia

The autumn leaves are changing quickly-- so you folks better hurry to take advantage

So what is "leaf peeping" anyway? Leaf peeping is an informal term, commonly used in the United States, for people who travel to view and photograph the fall foliage in areas where foliage changes colors particularly in the rolling mountains. The origin of the term "leaf peeping" is not well known; however, the Japanese have a custom that correlates called momijigari.

Perhaps it's the chill in the air... or the smell of pumpkin rolls... or the sound of football on the TV, but as soon as the crisp autumn air blows around us, we transform into leaf-peepers!
