What Is The Difference Between Leapster 2 and Leapster Explorer?

There is a big difference between Leapster 2 and Leapster Explorer. The main difference is that Leapster Explorer games cartridges are not the same with Leapster 2 games. This means that Leapster 2 games cannot be played on the Explorer and vice versa.

The Leapster Explorer Camera and Video recorder is an add-ons module (sold separately) that can be connected at the bottom of your Leapster Explorer.
