Treat the 15 minutes after your spouse walks in the doors just as you have been waiting for it the whole day. You are supposed to feel free to fake it. Instead of complaining about your job or the kids, give an enthusiastic greeting or some loving words. The tone you set will pay off for few hours.
Play with your kids. Experts say that the younger kids desire for the hands-on, concentrated on playtime. Drop the newapaper, the Internet and your cell phone. Set a clock for 15 minutes and play with your kids once you did. For example, you can take them to find a field trip to your own backyard to look for slugs, recreate the couch forts of yesterday. Even the just short bursts of interactive play can provide big developmental reward for children from two to ten.
Use a monthly calendar for a short-term plan and a 6 month canlendar for the long-term schedualing. Pencil in every thing that pertain to your aims, including the classes you plan to take like mastering the piano for fun, and regular exercise sessions, social events.
List the categorize missions on your daily acts paper: those which require close attention, you have to do by yourself; those which can be asked some others to do such as clean the garage; those which can be put off. To avoid delay, you need to the toughest jobs at first and break them into the less daunting components.
Take the time for the things you want to do by making your life simplify. Let go of activity such as polishing your car every week that can not contribute to your aims.
Reduce the frustration of everyday procrastinations. No matter where you go, keep a reading material or a walkman with music you like to listen to. Then when you are in a long queue, you can enjoy this time by listening to music or reading.
