Lastly, you can choose to buy a masonite board, a foam core or gator board, or a plexiglass board.

After knowing the basic painting tools, you can start putting one of your many painting ideas on paper. To start your puddle of color, take your watercolor brush and touch the bottom of your clean water container. Take your fully loaded brush, and either thump it a couple of times in your mixing well to release the water, or slide the brush against the rim of your mixing well to release the water.

One thing to remember about how to paint using watercolour is that not every brush stroke will be exactly how you imagined it to be. But regardless, your mistakes will eventually help you learn how to create a masterpiece.
