Learn to draw the ball
Are you tired of slicing the ball? Or do you want to learn to draw the ball whenever you need it
? If you do read on! I'll give you easy tips to incorporate a draw into your swing that also helped me out!
As you know Golf is a very mental game and trying to draw the ball is no different. When you're on the tee, or an approach shot to the hole, the first thing you want to do is pick a target to the left, then find a spot to the right of your target. Now imagine your shot going on that line you created. It may sound to easy, but like I said earlier, Golf is very mental. By visualizing your shot curving towards your target, it will incorporate into your swing.
When you want to set up for a hook, the best thing to do is narrow your stance just a tiny bit. After you narrow your stance, start bending over more during your setup. When you bend over like this, it will allow a much more neutral hit, and eventually will " tell " your clubface to close more during impact, which equals to the ball curving to the left.
The biggest thing to check though is your grip. By having an improper grip, you wont get the hook you want. To make sure you don't slice the ball, adopt a strong grip, and make sure that both of your hands rotate to the right of the shaft. When you squeeze to hard on the grip, more then likely you'll sllice it. So make sure you have a strong grip but not to strong!
