Books on romance, drama and fantasy may be read for entertainment purposes. Academics on the other hand cannot get enough of books that help nurture their skills in chosen subjects. Haven't we read that the best way to travel the world is through books?

The true worth of a book is assessed by the content that compels the reader to think. The actual life-changing value of books comes with books that challenge the thinking abilities and 'rattle our cages' making us take a 'new' look at old and familiar things. The value adding attributes of books are thus the reason for their rising and everlasting popularity.
