While we might not all be as rich as Scrooge, this story is a great reminder to both kids and adults about what is important in our lives
. Getting caught up in the busyness in life makes us forget about what is most important. When bills continuously build up it seems that we should be focusing all of our extra time and energy on earning money and not helping others or growing our relationships. This story also reminds us of how much easier life can be when we have the help of our friends and family to help us along the way and we don't have to be visited by ghosts to learn all of this.
