To learn music as a novice could be frustrating should you not know where to begin

. There is no wrong or right way for a novice to learn music, but there are several simple steps which could help anybody make music education fun.

You'll first require an instrument. You can get a head start if you have an access to any piano. It's the easiest instrument for beginning your music education. Its notes are placed neatly on a row and nothing's hidden. Due to its simple layout, a piano could be used for learning the basic principles in music.

There are two sets of keys on the piano: the black and the white. Each key sounds a different note. Beginning at the C note and playing the six next white keys on the right would form C major scale. However, finding the note as a beginner is nearly half the challenge.

Once you have found C, you would be capable of playing C major scale. Simply begin at any C note and move towards the right, playing every white key in a sequence until you reach the subsequent C note on your keyboard. You've now played a C major scale, a foundation of music education. The notes are C, D, E, F, G, A and B.

Several popular songs could be played on this scale. You could play Old McDonald using these keys. You could also play out Let it Be of Beatles using C major scale only. Both chords and melody of a song could be played using only the white keys.

Music education could be enjoyable and easy if a novice starts off with the right keys. Following the simple steps, anybody could make good music form the first day. The best musical greats of the world, all started from the first and so could you.
