There is one major difference between someone who wants to learn Spanish

and someone that converses in it on a day to day basis...

A native speaker of Spanish thinks in Spanish. Hearing this, you might feel as though it's impossible, but it's not as hard as you may think.

Many people reading this article will think that it's very easy for me to say, as I am a native Spanish speaker Ive been thinking in Spanish for as long as I have been thinking. But I did have to learn English at a point in my life also. Occasionally, this can get a little confusing complicated; its not easy for me to find the correct word in English when I am or excited, and more often than not I am literally lost for words when I am conversing in English and trying to get the correct expression..

There are many people that have decided not to learn a language due to being older and the myth that older people can't learn a language. This isn't true! Human beings have a great ability to know more than one language. Learning to speak Spanish comfortably will be no easy task, but if you think in your new language you will certainly make life a lot easier on yourself. It is truly a great milestone when you can start to see formation of the words in your mind and speak them in Spanish.

Have you been in a situation where you had a Spanish word pop into your head? Have you met someone you know in the street and thought to yourself 'Hola' instead of Hello?

Its actually a good sign when this happens.

Incorporate Spanish into your everyday living. Try to comment in your mind in Spanish as you go about your day.

We communicate with ourselves all day long.Even if you dont have the chance to be able to speak to others in Spanish, you can certainly speak to yourself in it. not to translate from one language to another.
