We store a lot of digital information in this digital age. We also keep more varieties of information now than we did in the past. Unlike other high-capacity media like tape and memory cards, a USB flash drive does not require a separate drive or reader. You just plug the whole thing into an available USB port, and you're done. Since all new computers these days have at least a couple of these ports, you can use a USB flash drive on any modern computer.

Another cool thing about USB flash drives is that there are plenty of designs to choose from. You can find USB flash drives that double as key chains, flashlights, pendants, and other cool stuff. For the fashionistas, there is the 1GB leather bracelet USB flash drive. It is a very stylish bracelet that can be worn anywhere and can hold 1GB of data. That's equivalent to more than 150 MP3 songs. Now, who said geeks couldn't be fashionable?
