LED lights are gaining more and more popularity because of its various advantages

. LED which is the acronym of Light Emitting Display is one such invention which created a revolution in the scientific world. This LED backlight having less wattage (less than 10W) can provide more lighting effect than a 50W halogen. This conveys a simple fact- they are giving more light compared to the power they intake. In ordinary lighting systems most of the power is wasted as heat, in case of LED down lights this problem doesnt occur and hence LED lights are often known as cool light sources.

One of the most important advantages that make the LED lights favorite is their high life expectancy. An LED light has a life expectancy from 25,000 hours to 75,000 hours. When compared to a CFL having 10,000 to 15,000 hours of life expectancy and halogen having just 1000 to 2000 hours of life expectancy LED can be called super smart. If saying generally with average use an ordinary LED will last about 15 to 30 years. In other way we can say 1 LED light will be enough for 40 halogens. Isnt it an amazing figure, in short using LEDs will be a smart option as it consumes less power can produced more luminosity?

There is only one disadvantage in LED backlights, if one LED of the driver fails we have to replace the whole thing. But since LEDs have much more life expectancy and durability, they wont die soon. If we are using an LED backlight we dont have to squeeze into the housing.

There are many companies manufacturing LED lights. If you are going to purchase an LED light all you have to do is to find a good manufacturing company and order the type of LED backlight you require.
