In a world where downloading and listening to music is as important as buying a car or getting good grades one wonders other legal options besides iTunes. For those that don't know already iTunes isa media giant who is charging more and more for their music. If you are anyone like me you would agree that paying $1.30 for a song simply isn't fair, on the other hand however downloading illegally is not fair to the artist. For the longest time I wished for a site that I could download the quantity of music I needed without the enormous price tag. And then I found legalsounds.com. Legalsounds is a fantastic website where you can purchase music for $.09 each. To me this was the best deal I have ever seen for music that is legal. The best way to review legal sounds is to break it down to three sub-categories: Design, Content and Efficiency.

Design

Legalsounds.com recently got a sleek new design with a clear and efficient layout. But beside from being aesthetically pleasing it is also quite functional. On the top toolbar you have everything you need to do with your account including:

-Account Details

-Balance

-Stats

-Downloads

-Request Music

The next toolbar has everything to do with finding your music. This toolbar is great for finding something fast as soon as you get to the website or open up the program. This toolbar includes:

-A link to top charts

-Most Downloaded songs

-Hot Releases

-Just Added

-Soundtracks

These 2 toolbars really help make the website easy to use.

When a song is searched you see corresponding albums and then a box with search results. This box includes:

-Song Name

-Artist

-Album

-Year

-Bitrate

-Price

When I first heard about Legalsounds I was skeptical as to how rich the library was going to be with music. I didn't think it could even come close to iTunes but I was sure wrong. Legalsounds.com has one of the best music libraries I have seen on the internet. So far every band I've searched, they have and they have all of the music. Legalsounds can be used for a casual listener who wants the hits and what topping the charts, or it can be used for a hardcore music listener who wants all of the songs by a particular artist or group.

-The songs also come in variety of Bitrates which can help you choose which song you want to buy. Although not all songs are not available in high quality, many songs are with no price difference.

-All songs are in MP3 format so they are ready to go on your ipod or portable music device instantly.

3. Efficiency

Legalsounds.com is a very efficient music downloading tool. In addition to being able to browse the library from your browser it also come with a great download tool that can be found here. The application allows you to open Legalsounds from your desktop with the full functionality of the website.

-Organization, Legalsounds keeps all your music organized for you. Once you download a song the song goes into a folder (default is My Music but can be changed) titled after the artist. Within the folder is a folder with the album name. Within that folder you will find all you MP3 downloads.

-Website Tools, Legalsounds has a variety of tools that can be used for your convenience. One of the most useful tools is the re-download tool. If for any reason your files are lost or corrupted Legalsounds will let you redownload them free of charge.

Overall
