Lenovo Ideapad V470 Is One Of The Average Laptops

Lenovo has launched its new 14-inch laptop for the business class though its features could hardly fulfill the needs of the target group

. The sleek design is due to the brushed-aluminum finish and it has a processor of Intel which is Core i3 that is capable of handling ample of work load. It is good with regards to security by having a fingerprint reading capacity and USB port that can be locked. The price is though just $599 it faces a good competition from others especially due to price and features.

Lenovos IdeaPad V470 is worth consideration from the looks point of view because of its sober yet modern design. The raised Lenovo logo in silver texture is scribed on to the top-left corner of the cover. The laptop seems to be a sturdy one because of the brushed aluminum wrapped deck inside like a lid. The silky black display and the lusterless keys in black, help to disintegrate the aluminum color. The power button on a thin strip of brushed aluminum that goes across the decks length has a very interesting feature. The light has holes drilled, through it comes out threads of white light and gives a magnificent look to the entire deck. The thin strip also houses the button for OneKey Recovery at the extreme left where the power button can also be found.

The speakers of the laptop are placed at two extreme corners of the deck over the keyboard. The back of the system is tapered by Lenovo that makes the slender laptop look still slimmer and the impression on the consumers is quite attractive, who like slim laptops. While the IdeaPad V470 was passing through the heat test it was found that the temperature of the screen while using was around 30 degree Celsius, which was much below the normal 35 degree Celsius. The temperature of the keyboard was around 2 degrees further less than the screen.

The Intels Core i3 processor and 4 GB RAM of the IdeaPad is nothing very special but is quite okay for daily use and is good for individual use by both home staying moms as well as executives at office. The graphics is look after by Intels in-built HD 3000GPU, which makes it okay though it stays below the average mark. Thus, this laptop is worth a buy if you are not going to strain the system with workloads only.
