Lenovo Presents K860 Quad-core Smartphone With 5-inch Hd Display

The first look of the Lenovo LePhone K9860, the latest Android smartphone

, was spotted in June on a Japanese mobile blog. Lenovo Group Limited, popularly known as Lenovo, has made an official launch of the Andriod 4.0.4 smartphone. The Chinese Multi Information technology and electronics company has not provided many details about the device. Lenovo has remained tight lipped on when and where the LePhone will be available and how much you should have to purchase one for yourself.

The device has a massive 5-inch (1,280 x 720p resolution) HD display for better and clearer view. The HD display will let you see objects in a more clear view providing high quality images. The large 5 inches screen will provide more at a glance with minimum scrolling and transitions. LePhone provides you the advantage of seeing more and doing more while on the go.

The most efficient quad-core Exynos 4412 processor by Samsung is wrapped inside the device. It is the same that is used in the international Galaxy S III. It is built using Samsung's 32nm High-k Metal Gate low-power technology, which ensures twice the processing capability with 20% less power consumption than that of Exynos 4 Dual processor. The Exynos 4421 processor outperforms when it comes to quality of graphics with Mali-400MP GPU.

The 8 mega-pixel camera supports 100 frames continuous shooting and 1080p video recording. The K860 also has a 2 mega-pixel front facing camera. You can easily capture and record all your memorable moments like an adventurous trip with friends, a romantic candlelight dinner, or the first birthday of your little angle.

The Lenovo LePhone K860 supports both WCDMA and GSM networks with a single SIM card, and microSD expansion slot with a 3.5mm jack. Lenovo has powered the K860 with 1GB Ram and a 2250mAh battery, which will help you keep going for long with all the above features. The device will run on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) operating system.

Lenovo LePhone K860 has a 9.6mm thin body that weighs 185 grams making it easy to carry. And, that's all about the information on the latest smartphone by Lenovo. As the device is set to be run on ICS, so there are good chances that it can see an update to Android Jelly Bean (4.1) operating system in the near future.

The LePhone is announced only for China now, and there are no details on its availability elsewhere. There is no information on the price too, but its demand is expected to go up.
