Another area where satellite service excels is sports programming, and it most definitely beats going to a live event. Of course there are some people out there that believe there is no substitute for a live event, but even they won't deny that sporting events are inconvenient to attend. It starts with the fact that you'll have to actually get ready to go to such an event by dressing appropriately, which wouldn't be required with home entertainment. Nevertheless, once you get there, you're going to have to fork over upwards of $20 for parking. Then you're going to have to walk for 20 minutes just to get to your seat, fighting the crowd all the way. Once at your seat, you might be disappointed to discover that your view isn't all that great. If you want to eat or go to the restroom you're going to have to fight the crowd again. Overall, it's just not nearly as convenient as sitting down on your couch and turning on your TV. When it comes to watching the game in Evans, satellite TV is truly the way to go.
