Let Them Know When You Are Going To Have Local Skip Hire
Its very important to keep your neighbors happy as much as possible and although
you may not think you should if it was the reverse youd prefer if your neighbors kept you in the loop. Im not saying you should kiss their bum but Im just saying that its best to keep them informed as much as possible as youd be surprised at just how much you may need them one day when you least expect it and its very difficult to ask for a favor if youve out-casted anyone.
For example if youre having a party and you think that it may be loud let them know in advance or even invite them over. Theyll probably decline but theyll struggle to come round and complain about the noise if you have pre-warned them and invited them. Theyll also hold less of a grudge about it as theyll be prepared for the noise in advance rather than them stewing over it all evening. You may find they even use it as an excuse to go out for the evening and youll find everyone will be far happier.
If youre having work done on the house and youre having workmen around just pop over and let them know. That way they know how long the work will be going on for and wont get stressed at the mess.
Its a similar situation if youre sorting out local skip hire. If youve arrange with the local skip hire company that youll keep it on your drive or garden then its nothing to do with your neighbours and its not worth telling them but if you want the skip to be kept on the street its best to let everyone know in advance as people hate rubbish in front of their house even if its in a skip and its the fastest way to rub people up the wrong way.
You may not agree with all of it but dont forget that at the end of the day youd prefer if someone gave you warning of a loud party next door and youd appreciate a bit of warning about a skip being in front of your home so its worth while keeping everyone happy.
