Let There Be Lite!
Yeah, I'm sure, I know, lame post title
Yeah, I'm sure, I know, lame post title. I merely couldnt resist.So! Having decided I definitely would definitely pick-up a ds lite charger sooner or later in ab muscles forseeable future I went along to the overall game Days sale at Gamestop. Generally I only get used games at GS due to their gutting policy, but with the sale and many types of I couldnt resist. I had been hoping they'd use a B2G1 sale like they did not too long ago, but no such luck. I wound up collecting Final Fantasy III and Exit, both for DS for just a small bit under $25. So good considering FF3 is normally $20 new and if you add tax it would be a comparable i got FF3 and Exit for.
The reason I didnt end up receiving a DS on Sunday was for the reason that ds lite power charger launched on that day i needed to wait and discover what some reactions were around the gaming community. I checked several different forums and news sites, mainly IGN and gamefaqs. Most users stated that they enjoyed the DSi, but there was complications with tinted screens plus the occasional dead pixel issue.

Therefore i continued to weigh my options Sunday night into monday morning about what version of hardware to acquire while reading various threads and articles. My plan ended up being stay with me and acquire at the least a weeks valuation on opinions. By the period most (if any) flaws in the DSi might have been discovered i will make an increasingly informed decision. This way I really could also hold off until the subsequent Sunday I could see if there would be any special deals on either DSi or DSL (although I expected neither).
However, in true gamer style I just now couldnt last long with two bright, shiny new games staring me in the face. I put them away in a very drawer where I keep the majority of my games after popping them prepared to take examine their instruction booklets (Im a sucker for anyone booklets), and my mind still couldnt get off the fact I had two new games that I couldnt play.
Monday came i was ready. I'd made my choice.
I ran out to my local Best Buy and grabbed a whole new metallic grey ds lite battery.
Somewhat more than a day later and I couldnt be happier with my choice. But well get to that.
First lets arrive at my first impressions.
Now I figure most of the people which have been reading this article at this time have in all probability seen a DSL after all this, but I believed a picture post with some unboxing action as well as my first impressions could well be fun to post, and hopefully for somebody, fun and/or informative to learn to read. So without further ado, let's begin!

So now it can be. Wonderful lookin at she? However , there is one small thing I can get off my chest here at now. So why do companies always package some in plastic that, when cut, forms very sharp edges effective at cutting very easily into human flesh? Or at least poking involved with it. Im sure the vast majority of you out of trouble there no of which I speak.
Anyways i had to spend a couple minutes of careful cutting and shaving the truly sharp corners, but finally I was able to pry in to the thing and get the ds lite adapter out.
