Another good approach is replacing curtains with roller blinds as they provide gateway for light to enter in your flat. Not just this brings inside the house fresh air and positive energy but also saves a lot on electricity bill during day time.

Mirrors are advantageous too. Apart from reflecting the true self, they also astonish you with the manner in which they reflect the light. It will not be wrong to say that bigger the mirror, the brighter the room will be and this will create a delusion of your room being big. This is exactly what showroom owners do. They get all walls covered with the mirrors to falsify the fact of their room being smaller in reality. A clean house looks appealing to eyes. So as far as possible try to keep your home look neat and clean. This will not only give you mental relaxation and peace. But will also, give you a feeling that your home is big. The logic behind this is that as we keep on creating heaps of things all around the house, this covers most of the space and so psychologically we begin to have ill feeling for our house.
