Whenever it becomes summer and we have a short vacation the first thing we think of is to travel somewhere relaxing and fun. There is no doubt that travelling has become one of the most popular things to do in our spare time and people just can't seem to get enough of travelling to new places and exploring uncharted territories. Travelling gives you a lot of other benefits than just new shopping venues, nice weather, partying places and a nice tan.

Travelling gives you the opportunity to take a look inside other cultures and see things from other perspectives than our own. Being able to see things from different sides and relating to all parties is one of the highest leader skills and will greatly balance your personality.

It will also make you a lot more humane and allow you to relate to all types of people instead of just judging them by their cover. Some people like travelling so much that they actually travel 4-6 times a year and stay at a location for 1-2 weeks every single time they do so. Other people actually do "mini retirements" around the world where they stay in a given country for 6-12 months before moving on to the next one.

I have even met people who have vagabonded around the world for 10-15 years non stop. The cool thing is that you don't even need to be super rich or wealthy in order to do so, what it really comes down to is simplifying your life. If you are content with living a very simple life (This shouldn't be confused with a poor life), you can have a really high quality of life in most countries around the world.

The first thing you need to do is to make sure you don't have a lot of expenses in your native country. It is a great idea if you invest some of your money in assets that will bring you passive income. This will ensure that you will make enough to eat and have a place to sleep no matter where in the world you are.

Don't plan things in a lot of detail when you are going for a prolonged travel, instead you should just follow the flow and let your inner you guide you. In this way you will be a lot more in the now and will enjoy your trip to the fullest, instead of just rushing through everything in order to meet your plan.
