Well known actress Demi Moore was born as Demetria Gene Guyenes in New Mexicom
. Her father, Charles Harmon, and mother Virginia King separated even before Demi was born. Her birth certificate carries the surname of her stepfather, Danny Guynes, whom her mother married after her separation from Charles. Demi led a very difficult life during her childhood. Both her parents were alcoholic and they often argued and fought with each other. Demi has a very unstable and painful life during those days. Even her home life was unstable as her father moved from one location to another about 30 times. Guyenes changed his jobs very frequently leading to a mess in their family life.
As a child, Demi even struggled as a cross-eyed. She had to wear an eye patch till it was corrected by two eye surgeries. Demi's stepfather dies in 1976 and her family shifted base to Los Angeles where she went to FairFax High School in Hollywood. She dropped out of her school to become a pin-up-model. At the age of 18, Demi married rock musician Freddy Moore. Her marriage to Moore lasted for four years but she retained her surname. After she got married, she posed nude for Oui magazine and bagged a role in film "Choices." This was in 1981 and in 1983, she again posed nude for the same magazine and landed a role in movie "Blame it on Rio."
Gradually she became a regular face on TV through a show "General Hospital." With her fame came her drug abusing habits. She continued to abuse drugs for three years before she was threatened by director Joel Schumacher. She agreed to go to rehab centre and started clean once again.
In 1987, Demi Moore married actor Bruce Willis but divorced him in 2000. She met Ashton Kutcher in 2005 and married him in 2007. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore started dating in 2003. Kutcher is seven years her junior but they are leading a happily married life. Their marriage has proved that the marriage of an older woman to a much younger man can be really successful.
