I had just returned from my annual trip to the west coast, in good health, full of energy and looking forward to meeting up with my friends. I cannot find the words to describe the sudden state of my mind when my friend told me her husband had died, whilst I was away. No tears or hugs of mine would bring him back. Her sorrow was infinitely greater than mine and we both knew I would in the next few minutes have to turn and leave. She was on her own and there was nothing anyone else could do about it.
Fortunately, they both had jobs and were earning good incomes and also were saving for their retirements, their futures looked rosy. It was in a matter of just three months that her life was shattered. She was alone and on one income, an income that she can live on. But how secure is she? The business that employed her had recently sold to another company. She still has her job, but for how long?
I have been advocating the internet business as a means to securing our financial future ever since I became involved in it myself.
There are two primary reasons I see that it is the best enterprise that one should venture into.
Firstly, you can create a website for as little as $10 a year for a Domain name and $10 a month for the hosting of your site. I have a site that costs far less than that because I signed up for a longer period. It is affordable, the risks are minimal, all you need is time.
Secondly, it is a work at home business, not meaning being locked at home taking care of your site minute by minute. Your business is locked in your computer and is portable, take it on vacation. All you need is access to the internet, and time, don't forget as in any business you need the time.
There are no guaranties in life. Expectations for our futures can be transformed in a matter of minutes. There is no better time to hope for the best but plan for a not so rosy eventuality'. Losing your spouse is very difficult, and in addition, it means instantly losing an income. Poverty is living in an unfertile existence, unable to create, clinging to the bear necessities of life.
Take the first step, create a website, learn the different business aspects of working on line. As a new world opens, new opportunities are visualized and perhaps a new found security.
So how does one go about creating a website? On the web itself there are free tools that administer to that task, again on the web are tutorials that teach you the principles and methods of obtaining your own unique website on the World Wide Web.
