After years of collecting things that meant something to me, I decided to clear out the loft and throw away old junk to make space for new ones. As I was going through everything, I realised I didn't want to throw anything as it was memories I wanted to keep forever.

I found my wedding dress, photos and little bits and bobs from our wedding day; I also found a suitcase full of my two daughter's clothes when they were babies and these was things I definitely didn't want to throw away.

I knew what I was going to do with the keep' pile, I decided to put them in a self storage UK but I just need to find my nearest one. With my throw out' pile, I decided to give it to charity as they would appreciate it more than the rubbish bin.

I asked my daughters to come around to have a look at their old things in the throw out' pile, in case they want to keep anything and also I can get help with packing the boxes. I will allow them to have a look at my keep pile but they can't take anything from it, as it's my memories of them when they were my babies and not someone guys wife.

I still find it amazing how quickly tome went by and how fast it's still going, I'll be a grandma soon as my eldest daughter is due to give birth and my youngest just found out she is expecting her first child too.
