Lifestyle Marketing is the way of the future online. The top internet marketers are using this technique of propagating their online personalities and sell their opportunities and make tons of money doing it. In the past couple of years the Federal Trades Commission (FTC) and other institutions have been really cracking down on websites that use their over inflated income opportunities to attract prospects into their business. As a result, all the major search engines and all it's internet marketing users were deflated. And so Lifestyle Marketing was born!

What is lifestyle marketing? and what can it do for my online business?

You have to ask yourself four major questions:


1) Who am I?

2) What do I really want?

3) What am I passionate about?

4) What are the kinds of people that I want to attract?

"Who am I?" and "What do I really want?"

At a most basic level, Lifestyle Marketing is Y.O.U. marketing your business opportunity where your prospects have an opportunity to visualize the lifestyle they could have if they joined you in your business. If you think about it, the question your really have to ask yourself is "Who am I?" and "What do I really want?".

You can place images of you spending time with your wife/husband at the beach, with your lap top sipping on a pia colada on a Wednesday afternoon. These kind of images have a much more powerful effect on your prospect's mind because they allow your prospect to visualize what is possible. People join an opportunity not because of the money they are going to make but because of the freedom it allows them to have. People join YOUR business because of the possibilities and opportunities it can give them to live, whether it be spending more times with a husband, wife, children, friends or just doing what they love.

"What am I passionate about?"

Lifestyle Marketing allows you to market who you REALLY are and market your core values and principles. Jay Kubassek, the CEO of CarbonCopyPro, says "market from the heart and the riches will follow, including money". And that's what lifestyle marketing allows YOU to do. For example, I am a professional musician. I am also a music instructor and coach. In my experience of network marketing, there are many tools at our disposal. Daily use of these instruments facilitate our online life and experience. It is no different than learning a musical instrument! Daily practice and a passion for something greater is a must. So the other question you must ask yourself is "What am I passionate about?"


"What are the kinds of people that I want to attract?"

By marketing your core values and principles you will be attracting people into your business that share the same wants, needs, and values. You will build a much stronger team. Your duplication rate will be much higher which means your team members will be making more money. Essentially, your business will explode!

You will want to market your REAL life: your day to day chores, what you get to experience, your lifestyle. The thousands of dollars a day that you are able to make is not the measure of value in Lifestyle Marketing. Money is just an instrument that allows you to do the things you've always wanted. Rather, the desire is to live the lifestyle of your dreams is what you what you want to clearly get across to your audience.

Stay true to yourself and who you are and you'll see an endless stream of prospects, just like you, wanting to join your business. It's okay if you are not where you want to be. Work on yourself to become the leader you want to become. Your essence and your core values must never change.
